Overview of Proposed Project Elements: Main Railyard, Post Street Alignment, Center Rutland Connector

RRA is pleased to issue the final report of the "Marketing Evaluation for Future Economic Development Relating to the Rutland Railyard Relocation Project." Funded by a State municipal planning grant and completed in November, 2005, the report looks at the potential for industrial development on sites along the rail lines in Rutland City and Rutland Town. Sections of the study look at site configurations, appropriate types of businesses that use rail, competitiveness of the Rutland area, and recommendations for launching a recruitment campaign.
