Rutland elementary and middle schools are ranked among the highest in quality of education in the state.
Suburban schools also offer a high level of quality in primary education.

Rutland has two exceptional high schools:

The Stafford Technical Center (www.staffordonline.org) provides technical training in a variety of fields, and works closely with area manufacturers to present classes with specific skill sets required of prospective employees by those manufacturers.
